What is Ribbon Leaf?

Unlike patent leaf, ribbon gold features individual leaves placed on lightweight paper with slight overlaps and secured with wax during rolling. This design works best on smooth, flat surfaces—the paper backing prevents the leaf from reaching into ornate details or recesses.

Storage & Care

Ribbon leaf responds to temperature and humidity changes. Store in stable conditions to prevent the leaf from loosening in dry heat or adhering too tightly in hot, humid environments.
