What Makes Patent Leaf Different
Unlike loose leaf, patent gold is adhered to special tissue paper through a precision pressure process. The leaf remains on the backing until pressed onto your prepared surface, making it ideal for outdoor projects and challenging conditions where loose leaf would be impractical. Best suited for flat surfaces and not recommended for water gilding.

Storage & Care
Maintain optimal performance by storing in a humid environment (approximately 80% humidity) wrapped in plastic to preserve tissue moisture. Avoid dry, warm conditions that may cause leaf separation. If leaf becomes too loose, remount by storing under pressure in humid conditions. For over-adhered leaf, store in cool, dry conditions or refrigerate.
