Palladium is a pure, silver-colored alloy highly resistant to air corrosion and acids (except nitric acid), making it ideal for exterior gilding as a substitute for silver or white gold. Patent palladium leaf is transfer leaf—palladium mounted to tissue paper via pressure process and layered between rouged paper sheets. Remove one leaf at a time without disturbing others. No gilder's tip needed. The leaf adheres to tissue until pressed onto your prepared surface, then the backing is removed. Ideal for outdoor applications and challenging conditions where loose leaf is impractical. Best suited for flat surfaces. Not recommended for water gilding.
